The teachers and parents, managing the periodic vision screening will immediately know if there is any disorder in the eyes of their wards and take corrective action immediately, thus improving the performance of children and stopping further deterioration.

Corporation / Factories

The management will know whether the employee they selected for a particular trade has required fitness of their eyes - e.g. the workers with disorder of peripheral vision and stereopsis would not be put to the jobs of crane operators, fork lift operators. Or workers working in textile company may have to undergo color blindness test. This would potentially increase the productivity and reduce the errors at work place.

Transport Department

Every driver can be subjected to periodic screening so that accidents, at least due to defective vision, can be reduced. The disorders like lack of stereopsis and reduced visual field cannot be detected by conventional testing, but may result into accidents .

Government

The timely detection of an eye disorder can minimize further aggravation of a problem and help in reducing partial or complete blindness. This is a great contribution towards Corporate Social Responsibility

Like maintenance department ( where the electrician should be able to distinguish the various color of wires) or a textile workers can improve the productivity of their personnel and reduce accidents / rejections.
